Our Services

License & Permit Selection & Strategic Planning

Choosing the correct TABC license is one of the most important decisions you will make when launching or expanding an alcoholic beverage business in Texas. We evaluate your business model, location, ownership structure, and revenue plans to determine the best license or permit for your operation. Our team explains the differences between retail, manufacturing, distribution, and carrier authorizations and ensures you are not over-licensed, under-licensed, or unintentionally violating tied-house rules.

Deliverables:

  • License/Permit eligibility verification

  • Business use modeling (on-premise, off-premise, production, shipping, events)

  • Compliance risk review

  • Recommended licensing path & timeline

AIMS Account Setup & Online Filing

The TABC Alcohol Industry Management System (AIMS) is the primary platform for filing new licenses, renewals, amendments, and product registrations. We create or update your AIMS account, submit all required applications, and handle communications with TABC staff on your behalf to reduce processing delays.

Deliverables:

  • AIMS business entity enrollment

  • Responsible Individual (RI) setup

  • Application and attachment preparation

  • Submission monitoring & follow-up

Product Registration & Label Approval

Before most alcoholic beverages may be sold in Texas, they must be product-registered with TABC—after obtaining federal label approval (COLA) when required. We manage end-to-end registration, ensure labeling, formula, and marketing statements meet Texas requirements, and respond promptly to agency information requests.

Deliverables:

  • COLA coordination (TTB)

  • Product label & formula review

  • TABC product registration submission

  • Compliance recordkeeping setup

Local City & County Approval Support

Many Texas locations require city and/or county certification before a TABC application can move forward. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and may include zoning clearance, public notices, community hearings, or wet/dry status checks. We coordinate all necessary outreach and documentation.

Deliverables:

  • Local authority application packets

  • Zoning & distance compliance screening

  • Public notice postings, hearing prep

  • Local official signature coordination

Temporary Events, Festivals & Special Use Permits

Texas allows multiple permit types for short-term and multi-day alcohol events including tastings, fundraisers, concerts, and festivals. We determine which authorization applies (TEA, NT, FUN, etc.), prepare filing documents, and ensure that event staff remain compliant with service rules.

Deliverables:

  • Permit/authorization selection

  • Venue & jurisdiction validation

  • AIMS filing or form preparation

  • Event compliance guidance & signage

Compliance Training & Inspection Preparation

After you receive your license, maintaining TABC compliance is critical. We help you build internal policies, train employees, and prepare for site visits or enforcement actions. Our team provides proactive compliance audits to identify gaps before a violation occurs.

Deliverables:

  • Internal alcohol service policy drafting

  • Seller-server training access / verification

  • Pre-inspection audits & corrective actions

  • Violation response planning
